HMC Prac Day Workshop Description
Session 1: Movement/Body Assessment
This session takes you through a worksheet covering key assessment techniques for you to measure the effectiveness of our exercises today. You will be self-assessing your body using key HMC movement screen tests for:
- Foot/Ankle
- Pelvis/Hip
- Thorax
- Shoulder
- Movement patterns
Session 2: Cell Blueprint
Holistic Movement Coaches use the Cell Blueprint to prioritise the holistic health needs of our clients. This system assesses 3 key areas: provide, protect, and promote – if cells are deficient in any of these 3 areas, cellular and overall health will be compromised.
You will have a unique opportunity to complete and interpret your personal cell blueprint – this is usually only available to Holistic Movement Coach clients. This session will help you take practical steps to improve your personal holistic health.
Session 3: Lower Body Movement Boosters
This session will apply the HMC model of Release, Activate, Move to boost movement in the lower body. This is a practical session. Be prepared to move your lower body better.
Session 4: Upper Body Movement Boosters
This session will apply the HMC model of Release, Activate, Move to boost movement in the upper body. This is also a practical session. Be prepared to move even better-er after this one.?

HMC at Yours Workshop Description
1. What to do When Your Gut Microbiome Shits Itself
We are 10% human and 90% bacteria. Around 2kg of bacteria (gut microbiome) lives in our gut – an 8m long tube that runs through the middle of us. The gut microbiome is critical for absorbing the nutrients from our food, protecting us from the dangers in our food, and communicating with our body. When your microbiome shits itself, your body literally breaks down from the inside-out. This session will cover the relationship between gut problems and your gut microbiome and will provide practical advice to improve gut health.
2. Is it Muscle Tightness or Muscle Weakness – Practical Session
You’ve probably heard the saying – Tightness is secondary to weakness. This is a fundamental principle of the Holistic Movement Coach Programme. The body will tighten up to protect you from moving into dangerous positions. Why would the body let you move into a range that isn’t safe? Sure, you could override this by stretching, but this violates the protective mechanism of the body and will place you in risky positions.
When you add stability, the body gives you mobility. This practical session will take you through how to assess your weaknesses and give your body mobility safely.
3. Finding Your Ikigai
The word ikigai is made of two Japanese words: iki (生き – life) and kai (甲斐 – worth). What makes your life worth living? What lights your fire and makes you smile from ear to ear?
If you’re a Jack or Jill of all trades and you’re struggling to find your niche, this session will take you through some of the methods we’ve used to mentor great fitness professionals to find their flow and achieve their potential.
4. Thorax and Shoulder Practical Session
The thorax and the shoulder are close neighbours. This is a practical session that will teach you how to easily assess movement in these areas and then add 3-D movement techniques to improve the way these areas move. Be prepared to move.

HMC Bulletproof your Body and Your Business Description
Session 1: Move differently to bulletproof your body – Ginera Linton-Ozich
Prepare to move differently by creating movement mobility, flexibility AND strength into seamless sequences. We’ll be using developmental and ground to standing movement to expand your body weight movement library with multiplanar mixes to bullet proof your body.
Session 2: Bulletproof your business – Rae Ng
We know the body adapts to training. If you want to get stronger, faster, better, you focus your training to achieve your training goal. It’s the same with your business -what areas of your business need focus?
Session 3: Remarkable rapport – Rich Ellis
Build your interpersonal skills, understand yourself better and learn how to leverage your strengths to best effect with others. You will do a little pre-work and work with others during this session to get lots of practice putting your learning into action right away. You will walk away with more flexible interaction skills making you the master in any room of people.
Session 4: How to write programmes that bulletproof your clients – Dave Liow
If we’re looking to build bulletproof clients we’d better create programmes that armour plate them. Learn a framework using 8 functional movements to write resistance training programmes that teach your clients how to move as well as getting them strong and adaptable.
