If you’re an experienced trainer I’m sure you understand that humans are complex. Exercise by itself is not enough.  Having a great diet also isn’t enough.  If you’re highly stressed, not sleeping well and have gastric reflux – HIIT is the least of your priorities.

Over the last 25 years I’ve been working with complex clients who have “fallen through the cracks” of conventional movement assessments.  I’ll take you through real life examples of physical assessments where we’ve identified then programmed for specific anomalies that have literally changed the lives of the people we’ve worked with.  If you deal with challenging clients, then this session is a must for you.

  • The importance of weight shift

1.30-2.30 Movement assessment and tweaks

This session covers the why, what and how to assess movement.
Unless you’re working with cars rather than complex living humans we tweak – we don’t fix.
Learn to see movement through different lenses that will help you trouble spot and work with problem movements.
This session will involve practical problem solving – bring along your dodgy hips, shoulders, ankles, and backs for a tweak

2.45-4.00 Movement preparation

I have the utmost respect for coaches who specialise in loading the body.  However, loading the body isn’t my priority.  Holistic Movement Coaches first and foremost aim to get bodies in the right place to accept and adapt to load effectively.
Training makes you tired – it’s the recovery and adaptation that makes you fitter, stronger, and leaner.  This practical session will look at movement preparation and regeneration techniques used in the Holistic Movement Coach Programme.
